01 EARLY LIFE & ROOTS

Rooted in the Soil of Vaishali

Born on 09 September 1979 in Babhora Guzam, Vaishali, Rajesh Kumar’s consciousness was formed amidst the agrarian rhythms and communal interdependencies of rural Bihar. Vaishali—the ancient cradle of democratic assembly and Buddhist contemplation—imbued in him a natural reverence for collective dignity.

Observing how local families were routinely broken by preventable illnesses or crippled by the absence of local colleges, an early resolve took shape: to establish institutions locally that match the rigor and quality of national metropolises.

03 CLINICAL AWAKENING

1998 — RIMS Ranchi & Allied Healthcare

In 1998, he undertook a specialized Lab Technician Course at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi. Working directly in clinical pathology, hematology, and emergency diagnostics brought him face-to-face with the severe shortage of trained paramedical technicians across eastern India.

Doctors were helpless without reliable blood banks, laboratory technologists, and radiographers. This clinical exposure became the direct inspiration for his first healthcare educational initiatives.

04 SCALE & DEDICATION

From First Classroom to Medical Complex

In 1999, his independent institution-building crusade commenced. By 2002, Magadh Technical Training College opened its doors, followed by Vivekanand Technical Training College Paramedical in 2003.

Over the next two decades, he systematically founded the Vivekanand ANM Training School (2014) to elevate rural women into certified nursing, Magadh Paramedical & Nursing Institution (2018), Magadh Institute of Higher Education (2020), and Chanakya College of Education (2021). The institutional pinnacle arrived in 2025 with Mahabodhi Medical College & Hospital.

05 EXECUTIVE CREED

The Philosophy of Permanence

As Chairman, Rajesh Kumar believes that the true measure of leadership lies in institutional self-sufficiency. A college or hospital must not depend on the whims of an individual; it must possess rigorous regulatory accreditations, uncompromising faculty standards, and modern diagnostic technology.

His management philosophy centers on “Service Before Self”—ensuring that economically disadvantaged students receive fee concessions and merit sponsorships without compromising the infrastructure available to them.
